Habitat:
Odontura stenoxypha inhabits open and semi-open, forb-rich habitats of all kinds.
Life cycle:
The adults appear in spring and early summer from April into July (according to altitude).
Remarks:
Odontura stenoxypha is supposedly endemic to Sicily and Malta. Reputed records from Mallorca, Sardinia and N-Africa are most probable erroneous. A separation of Sicilian populations into O. arcuata and O. stenoxypha has been aborted in the meanwhile.
