Habitat:
Baetica ustulata inhabits screes, boulderfields, stony slopes and other habitats between 2200 and 3400m. Most often the habitats are also rich in dwarf shrubs such as Juniperus. Important are gaps within the stone piles where the animals find shelter.
Life cycle:
The adults usually stay on the ground or under stones. Adults are found mainly between July and October.
Endangerment factors:
Baetica ustulata is endangered by tourism, infrastructure and global warming.
Remarks:
Baetica ustulata is endemic to the Sierra Nevada range in S-Spain (Granada and Almeria) from 2200m.
