Habitat:
Eumigus punctatus inhabits most often open pine woodland. Near Siles it lives syntopically with the moth Actias isabellae and the Bradyporidae Coracinotus politus.
Life cycle:
The adults are found probably year-round. In most cases larvae should hibernate and adults peak between April or May and July. The animals are sometimes found on streets where they are easier spotted than in the vegetation.
Remarks:
Eumigus punctatus is endemic to a few mountain ranges in SE-Spain, e.g. in NE-Granada, Jaen and SW-Albacete.
