Habitat:
Glyphanus obtusus inhabits only rocky and very sparse slopes, dry grasslands and pastures between about 300 and 1200m.

Glyphanus obtusus is heavily endangered on most of its few sites by overbuilding with resorts and other infrastructure, agricultural intensification, but also bush encroachment after abandonment of grazing.
Remarks:
Glyphanus obtusus is a Greek endemic with few and scattered sites in the central and eastern part of the Gulf of Corinth (both sides) up to Athens.
