Habitat:
Ocnerodes brunnerii inhabits steppe-like habitats (Grasslands, garrigues) with portion of open soil or rocks.
Life cycle:
The larvae hibernate. The adults appear between march and summer, where most individuals die in heat and drought. A few records still exist from autumn. The animals usually rest on the ground. or very near the ground.
Remarks:
Ocnerodes brunnerii is endemic to Spain and is found there especially in the central and eastern parts (misses in the south and especially southwest).
