Habitat:
Anterastes serbicus settles most often on mountain meadows (often grazed pastures) between 1000 and 2500m above sea level. Often there are scattered rocks or stones. Many individuals live at the borders of small shrub such as low-growing Juniperus.

Life cycle:
Anterastes serbicus mostly lives near the ground and can be observed between late June and October.

Remarks:
Anterastes serbicus occurs on the southern Balkan Peninsula (southern parts of ex-Yugoslavia, Albania, Bulgaria, Northern Greece). It is also found in northwestern parts of Anatolia.
