Habitat:
Sepiana sepium usually occurs in not too xerothermic habitats with higher growing egetation. I observed Sepiana sepium in Northern Greece on Mount olympus in 800m above sea level in a partly humid pasture at the forest edge with Pteridium aquilinum together with Pyrgus armoricanus and Lycaena ottomana.

Remarks:
Sepiana sepium occurs in Southern Europe from eastern Spain to Greece and southern Russia as well as in parts of Western Asia.
