Habitat:
Ctenodecticus bolivari inhabits dry and warm habitats of all kinds provided that there is a gappy and moderately high (not too high and not too dense) grass canopy.
Life cycle:
The adults appear in summer and autumn and are often quite common between sea level and more than 1200m.
Remarks:
Ctenodecticus bolivari occurs in Sardinia and N-Africa (Tunisia). Related forms (Sicily: C. siculana) are nowadays regarded as distinct species.
