Habitat:
Pterolepis spoliata inhabits various habitats from coastal wetlands and garrigues to open woodland. It is essential that there exists at least partially a denser growing vegetation (grasses, forbs, shrubs).
Life cycle:
The adults occur between early summer and late autumn. They are easily flushed out of dense vegetation.
Remarks:
Pterolepis spoliata occurs in the Southern an very locally also Central Iberian Peninsula. It is especially common from the Algarve across Andalusia to Murcia.
