Host plants:
The larvae most often feed on Medicago species like especially M. lupulina and supposedly also M. sativa.

Habitat:
Cupido decolorata inhabits extensively managed grasslands, most often mesophilous or dry, e.g. pastures, embankments, orchids or nutrient-poor slopes.

Life cycle:
The adults occur in several, most often 2-3 generations between May and September. Oviposition occurs into young inflorescences. The larva feeds on the flowers and fruits.

Remarks:
Cupido decolorata occurs from eastern central Europe (e.g. parts of Poland, E-Czech Republic, Slovakia, E-Austria) towards the east and southeast.
