Habitat:
Eugryllodes pipiens inhabits especially sandy or stony habitats up to 1600m asl.

Life cycle:
The adults are observed mostly under stones in gappy embankments etc. in summer and autumn.

Remarks:
The Southwestern European species occurs in Spain and south France.
