Habitat:
Pteronemobius lineolatus inhabits mostly humid and warm habitats such as river beds, lake shores and generally wetlands. I observed Pteronemobius lineolatus in sun exposed cattle pastures in 700m asl in the humid Azores.

Life cycle:
The adults appear often between late summer and winter, but according to site also year-round. They rested in grass tussocks in Saint Miguel (November 2013).

Remarks:
Pteronemobius lineolatus occurs from the Iberian Peninsula across S-France and Italy to southern Switzerland and the northern Balkan Peninsula. I recorded it in the Azores in Saint Miguel.
