Habitat:
Modicogryllus cyprius inhabits various zones from garrigues in low altitudes to open pine woodland in 1800m. An important precondition are obviously stones or dead wood under which the animals are most often found during daytime.

Life cycle:
The adults occur from spring (March/April) in lowlands to summer or autumn (higher altitudes).

Remarks:
Modicogryllus cyprius is endemic to Western Cyprus (especially district of Paphos).
