Habitat:
Eupholidoptera leucasi inhabits all kinds of habitats with vertical structure like open woodland, garrigue, maquis, scrub, thistle stands, pastures, fallow land and coastal swamps.
Life cycle:
The adults appear already in May, in higher altitudes not prior to June. They tend to have high densities. This taxon is indistinguishable from closely related ones on macroscopic scale (but shows different genitalia etc.).
Remarks:
Eupholidoptera leucasi is endemic to the isle of Lefkada (Ionian Sea, W-Greece).
