Host plants:
The larvae feed on grasses (Poaceae).

Habitat:
Maniola cypricola inhabits open or semi-open (also in open woodlands), grassy habitats.

Life cycle:
The larva hibernates. The butterflies occur in one generation already from late March or April (according to altitude).

Remarks:
Maniola cypricola is endemic to Cyprus.
