Habitat:
Anonconotus ligustinus inhabits Alpine grasslands and pastures with stones as well as gappy dwarf shrub heathland between 1700 and 2400m.

Life cycle:
The adults appear between July and October.

Remarks:
Anonconotus ligustinus is endemic to the Maritime Alps and known so far only from the vicinity of Tende pass (Italy/France).
