Habitat:
Acrotylus fischeri inhabits dry and hot places up to about 2000m.
Life cycle:
The adults overwinter and are found especially in autumn and spring.
Remarks:
Acrotylus fischeri occurs in SW-Europe (Iberian Peninsula and S-France) and NW-Africa.
Hints on determination:
The animals are more compact and not so elongated as A. insubricus. The rear edge of the pronotum is angulated and not so rounded as in A. insubricus.
