Habitat:
Italohippus albicornis inhabits rocky slopes above 1500m.
Life cycle:
The adults appear in summer and autumn. Tey are often very common in their sites. Copulating males seem to fall into a rigid state and let themselves be dragged around by the female.
Remarks:
Italohippus albicornis is endemic to the Matese region near Campobasso (especially near Campitello Matese) in southern central Italy.
