Habitat:
Morphacris fasciata inhabits various, mostly open habitats from coastal areas, pastures and garrigues to agricultural land and gardens.
Life cycle:
The adults may be found year-round in warm regions. I recorded larvae and adults in early October in southern Spain.
Remarks:
Morphacris fasciata occurs especially in most of Africa and parts of southern Asia. In Europe, it is found in the southwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula.
