Habitat:
Pseudopodisma fieberi inhabits forb communities, abandoned meadows, edges and extensively grazed pastures with partly higher-growing vegetation.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between late June and September. They are usually recorded on forbs or young and low bushes.
Endangerment factors:
Pseudopodisma fieberi is easily pushed bach by intensification (early and complete mowing, more intense grazing). But it also loses its habitat by abandonment (bush encroachment).
Remarks:
Pseudopodisma fieberi is essentially a W-Balkan-species. It is found from NE-Italy and S-Austria across the countries of Ex-Yugoslavia to W-Bulgaria and SW-Romania.
