Nutrition:
The species feeds on grasses and especially herbs (e.g. Bituminaria bituminosa). I also met an animal on Rubus fruticosus agg. eating at.

Habitat:
Arminda latifrons inhabits dry, warm, rocky habitats. I met a abundance maximum in grassy, dry habitats at about 500m above sea level. Here most of the animals were sitting on leaves of grasses and herbs and only partially on the ground.

Life cycle:
I met adults at Christmas 2008 and in February 2013. They should, however, be found throughout the year.

Remarks:
Arminda latifrons is endemic to La Gomera (Canary Islands). In the Canaries, there are further species of the genus Arminda that is resembling Pezotettix.
