Habitat:
Arminda palmae inhabits grassy places, ravines (barrancos), rocky slopes and clearings in the pine forest.

Life cycle:
The adults are probably to be found throughout the year. I observed them in December 2010 in the north and center of the island in elevations between 100 and 500 meters above sea level.

Remarks:
Arminda palmae is endemic to La Palma (Canary Islands). On the other islands, there are found other, also endemic species.
