Habitat:
Odontopodisma montana inhabits scrub, edges, woodland clearings and similar sunny but higher growing places with Rubus, Clematis, bushes or young trees. In higher altitudes (up to 2000m) ist is also found in open dwarf shrub heathland.
Life cycle:
I recorded the adults as early as early June 2018 (380m). They are found until summer, in higher altitudes also in autumn. The animals rest on upper sides of leaves in the scrub.
Remarks:
Odontopodisma montana occurs in SW-Romania, Bulgaria and E-Serbia, possibly also in the northern part of European Turkey.
