Habitat:
Odontopodisma schmidtii inhabits scrub withs Rubus and bushes, edges, bushy woodland clearings and similar places, most often below 600m.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between early summer and autumn. Their behaviour does not differ significantly from the congeners.
Remarks:
Odontopodisma schmidtii occus in S-Austria, NE-Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, SW-Hungary, N-Serbia and in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Hints on determination:
Odontopodisma schmidtii is easily separated from the sympatric O. decipiens by the black lateral lobes of the female subgenital plate.
