Habitat:
Podisma goidanichi ihabits grassy slopes and ridges between 1600 and 2300m.
Life cycle:
Podisma goidanichi is found as adult between July and October. The animals usually stay in the grass and are recorded much less on open soil or stones. Thus their green colour is camouflage.
Remarks:
Podisma goidanichi is endemic to the Central Apennines and occurs for example in the Monti Sybillini or in Gran Sasso National Park (but here only in Monti della Laga, e.g. Monte di Mezzo di Campotosto, not in Gran Sasso itself).
