Habitat:
Platycleis affinis inhabits dry-warm places of all kinds (e.g. dry grasslands, garigue). I observed it in vegation-rich parts of the coastal dunes in Northern Greece (Katerini). E.g. in Andalucia Platycleis affinis also occurs in medium-high mountains up to about 1500m.
Remarks:
Platycleis affinis is widespread in the Mediterranean in S-Europe and N-Africa (to the North app. to East Austria) and also occurs in parts of W-Asia. In eastern Central Europe it occurs up to E-Austria (Lake Neusiedel).
