Habitat:
Platycleis modesta inhabits meadows, dry grasslands and pastures with at least partially higher growing grass vegetation and dwarf shrubs, often in medium-high altitudes between 300 and at least 1800m asl, but sometimes also at sea level.
Life cycle:
Adults appear between July and October, at lower elevations already from June.
Remarks:
Platycleis modesta occurs from NE-Italy across the eastern Adriatic coast and its back country to Albania.
