Habitat:
Poecilimon ikariensis occurs especially on Cistus bushes on woodland edges, along roads or under pines and olive trees.
Life cycle:
The adults appear supposedly from late April until well into June. In mid-May 2025 I recorded still larvae in higher altitudes and mor adults in lower ones. The animals are in majority dark, but there are also light and green ones, especially females. They are often gregarious in good sites (severel individualy per bush). The widespread Eupholidoptera ikariensis is usually syntopic.
