Habitat:
Poecilimon paros inhabits garrigues and similar places with Cistus shrubs or Sarcopoterium etc.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between late April and late June. In mid-May 2025 they had been adult in the lowlands of Naxos island, but in majority still larvae in the uplands. Most individuals occurred on Cistus shrubs.
Remarks:
Poecilimon paros is endemic to the Greek islands of Paros, Naxos, Ios, Serifos and Iraklia. In Naxos island Poecilimon paros had been very widespread in May 2025 and even masses occurred in the uplands.
