Habitat:
Poecilimon veluchianus inhabits mountain pastures, herbal forest edges, road side verges and other sunny, partly higher growing habitats between app. 400m and more than 2000m asl.
Remarks:
Poecilimon veluchianus is close to P. chopardi and occurs only in a small area in Central Greece approximately from Lamia in the east to the region of Mount Timfristos (Velouchi) in the west. To the north the distribution of P. chopardi is adjacent, to the northeast that of P. thessalicus and to the northwest and to the south P. zimmeri.
