Host plants:
The larvae live mainly on Fabaceae like broom, but can generally be considered as polyphagous.

Habitat:
Dasycorsa modesta inhabits Mediterranean maquis and garigue, open dry woodland margins and similar places.

Life cycle:
The moths occur in early spring (February to April). The larvae develops between April and June. It can be beaten from broom bushes.

Remarks:
Dasycorsa modesta occurs in SE-Europe (e.g. Greece, Bulgaria) and parts of Asia (e.g. Asia Minor).
