Host plants:
The larvae are polyphagous and can be found on herbs and lower parts of bushes. I found larvae on Cistus and Sarcopoterium spinosum in Samos Island.

Habitat:
dra and warm habitats of all kinds, e.g. garigues

Life cycle:
The larva hibernates and the moths occur in presumably most often two generations (1-3 according to altitude and site) between April and October/November.

Remarks:
The Southeastern species occurs from Italy across parts of the Balkans to Greece and to W-Asia (e.g. Turkey).
