Host plants:
The larvae mostly feed on conifers (Picea, Pinus, Abies). It is only rarely observed also on deciduous woods.

Habitat:
Peribatodes secundaria inhabits coniferous and mixed forests of all kinds.

Life cycle:
The larva hibernates. The adults are on the wing in a single generation mostly in July and August.

Remarks:
Peribatodes secundaria occurs in Europe (in the south more local in mountains) and Asia Minor.
