Host plants:
Probably the caterpillar is polyphagous. Personal observations are lacking.

Habitat:
Metopoceras felicina colonized semi-deserts and other dry warm habitats such as rocky slopes.

Life cycle:
The moths fly especially in winter and spring. The caterpillar can probably be found in the spring.

Remarks:
Metopoceras felicina is distributed Atlanto-Mediterranean and is found for example in Northwest Africa and the Iberian Peninsula. It also occurs in the Canary Islands.
