Host plants:
The larvae feed in the first place on brooms and gorses, more rarely also other Fabaceae.
Habitat:
Trigonophora haasi inhabits sites with the larval host plants such as heaths, pastures, woodland margins and sparse forests, with peak in medium-high altitudes (400-1600m).
Life cycle:
The egg hibernates. The larvae develop between April and June. The young larvae are easily beaten from broom and gorse. The moths occur in early autumn between late August and October with peak in September.
Remarks:
Trigonophora haasi occurs in the Iberian Peninsula and southern France (from the east Pyrenees across Hérault to Ardèche).
