Host plants:
The larvae feed on Alhagi.
Habitat:
Zekelita ravalis inhabits dry and warm sites, often near the coast, e.g. on dunes.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in several generations between March/April and October/November and are attracted to artificial light. I recorded numerous larvae in Samos island on Alhagi in May 2018.
Remarks:
Zekelita ravalis occurs in some East Aegean islands like Samos or Rhodes as well as, e.g., in Asia Minor, the Near East and S-Russia.
