Host plants:
Thomal Müller recorded oviposition on Stachys sylvatica in S-Germany (river Iller south of Ulm).
Habitat:
Scopula nemoraria inhabits especially humig woodlands with a high proportion of inner edges like riparian woodlands.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in May and June (especially late May to mid-June). The larva hibernates.
Remarks:
Scopula nemoraria occurs only quite locally from Central Europe eastward to southern Eastsibiria and China.
